Dr. Santosh Kumar holds a PhD in Linguistics from Delhi University. His research focuses on gender, disability, and sociolinguistics. He has earned his MPhil and MA in Linguistics from the same university. His research interests include Critical Disability Studies and the representation of disability in popular culture. He has presented papers at national and international conferences. He has also delivered invited talks at Delhi University, SGT University, and Acharya Institute. Dr. Santosh has conducted FDP sessions on disability and diversity at Surana College, Bangalore. His work has been published in Indian Linguistics and Economic and Political Weekly. He has contributed chapters to books on language teaching and disability studies. Since 2017, he has been a faculty member at Christ University, Bangalore. He has previously taught at the National Institute of Technology, Delhi, and other institutions. His work focuses on interdisciplinary studies in cultural and linguistic fields. Dr. Santosh is a co-investigator on a UK-India project related to creative industries. He is also working on a monograph about the stigma of mental illness.
